MD’s Blog: Passing our ISO9001 Translation Audit with Flying Colours

Wednesday, June 18th, 2008

We had our first ISO9001 Translation Audit earlier today and passed with flying colours.

With zero minor non-conformances, well above the average for the first audit, we have been recommended for ISO9001 certification for our translation services by the auditing body, which should officially arrive in July.

The auditor from ISOQAR praised the staff he audited for their enthusiasm and professionalism, well done Kay, Ann, Lee, Emma, Sahar and Simon.

A big thank you to Elizabeth Pearce of Maverick Innovations Ltd who has been our ISO consultant assisted us with our quality manual, process maps and training … I got the feeling she was pleased as punch with zero non-conformances and that was a rare occurance!

After a year of putting it all together today has made all the hard work worthwhile.

Now we can go after work in the pharmaceutical industry!!

ISO9001

Thursday, November 15th, 2007

As we are adding services to our portfolio, it was agreed at a Management Meeting today to delay implementing ISO9001 until Spring of next year rather than our original aim of 31 December.

I’m never a fan of not meeting a target, be it internally or externally, although I can’t really complain as the goalposts I briefed to my team have been moved.

We also had a Board Meeting. The contents of which I will not discuss in a Blog. It went well and everyone is behind my plans.
